QutIM - An upcoming alternative

Hi,
today I want to introduce you to an instant messaging (IM) program called QutIM .
QutIM is a multi-protocol messenger, developed since 2008 in Russia. QutIM in C + + and Qt4 written, it means there are versions for Linux , Windows and Mac . In appearance it resembles very QIP. The Messenger QutIM is modular and extensible through plugins.

The appearance can be customized, own designs are possible for

• the contact list
• The chat window
• the message history in the chat window (WebKit-style, compatible with the styles of Adium)
• Emoticons, Popup windows, icons, sounds, buttons / scroll bars ...

Currently, ICQ, Jabber (Google Talk, Yandex.online, LiveJournal.com), IRC and Mail.ru. Twitter and MSN are supported by plug-ins, but these are not yet stable.
