life on Titan
is still not secured, but it is by far the strongest evidence of life beyond our planet that I have ever read!
on Saturn's moon Titan, which seems at first glance "life-friendly", there you see rivers, coastlines, lakes, in the pictures. But not from water but from methane. And in this fluid seems to be something to do, at least, hydrogen and acetylene consumed. As it no known chemical reaction is that enables the in minus temperatures, remains almost only one way: micro-organisms consume these substances for energy as we consume oxygen or to use other bacteria on the earth sulfide as an energy source.
